Content Rejected: Reasons and Next Steps

Your guide on how to determine why your content was rejected, how to resubmit and get it successfully published

Sometimes, after submitting your content, you may find it in the Incomplete section again with the "Rejected" status. This means that it has not met Modelcentro's approval standards, and some changes need to be made in order to resubmit the item. In this article, we will go over the various rejection reasons and messages you can get to help you make sure that your content gets successfully posted upon resubmission.

How do I know that my content was rejected?

You will see it back in the Incomplete folder, with the red "Rejected" banner at the bottom:

Once you open the content item to edit it, you will see the areas that need to be changed highlighted with a red "i" indicator that will show a message clarifying the rejection reason upon hovering your cursor over it.

Rejection reason: Title or description mentions banned content

This may happen if your title or description contains a forbidden word or mentions content that is not allowed by ModelСentro TOS. If you hover your cursor over the "i" mark, you will see a message explaining what needs to be removed.

Rejection reason: Guest model documents

This reason often appears if there is a mismatch in guest performer documents, or if some of the documents that are needed are missing. The "i" icon will show what needs to be added or changed.

Rejection reason: SFW cover contains 18+ content

Since the SFW cover is meant to only be shown to non-verified users, it is not meant to contain nudity, sex scenes, and other 18+ content. If your SFW cover was rejected, you will see the Thumbnails section highlighted in red, with the "i" icon in the top right corner explaining the changes needed.

Once you have resubmitted the content, you will see the red banner change to "Pending approval after Re-submit":

Once the changes have been approved, your content will be moved to the Published or Scheduled section accordingly.
