Uploading and Publishing Videos

  • Uploading Your Video: Navigate to the "Videos" section click on "Add New Video", and upload your file, ensuring the browser remains open until the upload is complete and the status changes to "Processing".

  • Meta Data Enhancement: Populate the "Title" and "Description", select the "Grading" and "Year of Production", and add relevant tags. Edit the video cover, organize thumbnails, and add a "Guest Model" if applicable.

  • Implementing a Custom Trailer: click "Edit video preview". Choose "Trailer" and "Upload custom preview", wait for processing, and click "Apply".

  • Publishing Protocol: Before hitting "Publish now" or "Schedule", ensure the title is set, a cover is chosen, 8 thumbnails are selected, and at least one video format (240p to 1080p) is generated. Await team approval before seeing it live on the website (up to 48 hours during weekends).

Optimizing Video Visuals

  • Altering the Video Cover: To change the cover, navigate to "Videos", select your video, click "Edit video cover & thumbs".

Hover over the desired thumbnail, clicking "Set as Cover".

Alternatively, upload a custom cover by clicking "Upload Thumbnails", selecting a photo, and setting it as the cover, followed by clicking "Apply" to confirm.

  • Adjusting Thumbnails: Select "Edit video cover & thumbs". Delete or change current thumbnails using the “Timeline” section or by dragging thumbnails into "Current thumbnails". Adjust their order as preferred and confirm changes with the "Apply" button.

Managing Video Availability

  • Unpublishing a Video: Select the video you wish to unpublish from the "Videos" tab and click the "Unpublish" button.

The video status will switch to "Unpublished" and it will be moved to the "Incomplete" tab. To republish, hit "Publish now" or "Schedule", and to remove it, simply "Delete" the video.

  • Adjusting Preview Settings for Potential Members:

    • Enabling Content Preview: By toggling "Show content preview" in the Content Preview section of video settings, a 45-second snippet from the start of the video becomes visible to free members. Following this preview, a “Join my site” banner appears, prompting viewers to become full members for complete access.

    • Without Content Preview: If you disable the preview option, the video remains an exclusive treat, only accessible within the members' area for those with a paid subscription.

  • Managing Visibility for Website Guests:

    • Enabling Guest Visibility: If visibility for guests is enabled, all visitors can view the video preview in the latest updates on the homepage and within the video tab, offering a sneak peek into your content without divulging the full experience.

    • Disabling Guest Visibility: Contrarily, if disabled, video previews stay concealed, visible only upon joining your website with a paid membership, ensuring exclusivity to your premium content.
