Engaging with your fans via newsletters can be a potent way to sustain and elevate interest. While ModelCentro may not offer an in-built newsletter tool, leveraging a third-party email marketing service like SendGrid is a viable and effective solution.

SendGrid provides a robust platform, allowing a generous 40,000 emails in the initial 30 days, and subsequently 100/day, even on a free account.

Let’s Navigate Through Creating a Newsletter:

  1. Getting Started:

    • Begin by creating an account on SendGrid.

    • Navigate through: Marketing > Single Sends > Create a Single Send.

  2. Crafting Your Email:

    • Opt for a custom or pre-designed email template.

    • Utilize the Design Editor, employing its user-friendly drag-and-drop system and WYSIWYG functionality. No coding needed!

    • Customize content using widgets for images, text, etc. (Consider using non-explicit content.)

  3. Engaging the Right Fans:

    • In ModelCentro, navigate to your Fans list.

    • Select your target audience and Export CSV > Generate CSV > Download.

  4. Uploading Your Fan List:

    • In SendGrid, under the Design, go to Settings > RECIPIENTS > Upload Contacts > Add Contacts.

    • Drag and drop the downloaded CSV, and progress via: Next > Review CSV Upload.

  5. Refining & Sending:

    • Ensure fields are mapped correctly and proceed via: Add Contact > Done.

    • Review the details, check email appearance across devices, and send a test email.

    • Edit subject, category, and schedule your email accordingly.

    • Confirm your email address is verified by SendGrid.

Once all checks are completed successfully, save your progress, hit the Send button, and your newsletter is en route to your fans!

Post-dispatch, explore the results to gain insights into engagement and effectiveness, fine-tuning your strategy for future newsletters.
